Makan at Daniel's - 8 March 2009

This is Daniel's 4th makan session and I must say, this time he really out did himself with the food. Mind you, with the exception of the brownies, Daniel prepared the food all by himself! Good on ya, Dan! He even had the entire menu written on his white board.. halal logo and all! Haha..

Jasmin and I hitched a ride from Ash and by the time we got there Hafeez, Yati, Ain, Greeta and Mangala were already there and eating. So, the 3 of us just dove right in! Anyway, I was starving.

For dessert, apart from Daniel's fruit jelly, we had 2 types of brownies to choose from - store bought from Secret Recipe courtesy of Jasmin & homemade courtesy of Mangala..

Azni's turn at Taboo, a really fun game & the first game we played that night. For those of you who've never played this, it's pretty simple - the word in the green band is the word you have to get people to guess and the 5 words below are words that you cannot use in the process of getting them to guess. In other words, they a taboo word la.. Get it?

After 2 rounds of Taboo, Hafeez, Yati, Azni & Fizz had to leave.. Fizz, seen here in her cat baju, striking a pose.. and a closer look at the cats on her baju.. so cute!

The rest of us continued with the next game, Pictionary, which was so much fun! Although it was hilarious watching Greeta go about trying to draw but at the end of the day, it was Jasmin who took the cake for attempting to make us guess the word "chunk" - it was really, really funny! After a couple of rounds of Pictionary, we switched to Survivor, the board game. It was a shortlived session for all us girls and the final stretch was an all-male affair!

After Survivor, which I really have no clue who won, Daniel brought out his tarot cards and did some readings. Seen here doing it for Ain..

It was already 1.15am and we all decided to call it a night. As always, I had loads of fun and look forward to the next get together. Thank you, Daniel!
