February 2009 - What a month!!

February, despite having 2 Public Holidays and being the shortest month of the year, seemed like a pretty long month to me! This was probably because I was very busy at work, plus I had to work on a couple of weekends. Still, February offered some great moments like catching up with old friends via Facebook, both online and in the flesh!

Attended a talk by Royal Professor Ungku Aziz at KL Convention Centre on 12th February.. The books I'd purchased for the month - I'm currently reading Angels & Demons..

I had the pleasure to meet up with one Farah Sumiyati Wagimin and one Geethanjali Narayanan - both schoolmates whom I have not seen in 20 odd years and I found via Facebook! It was great seeing them again and catching up!

My new electric stove.. after a slight gas leak previously, I was a bit freaked out to use my gas stove and I am glad I have this one now! My Valentine's gift, a Swiss roll shaped, coconut scented soap from Jasmin..

My Valnetine's gift from my nephews & niece, who are also my Godchildren.. So sweet!

Unfortunately, Tisha beat me to using it! She looks so cute..

Kitties' reunion makan.. haha.. (L - R: Boo, Tisha, Chips & Girl) Chips, my fruit and vege eating cat.. seen here chomping on some butterhead lettuce.. he has had a good go at durians, which he seems to love, mangoes, papaya, chestnut, pea sprouts (Girl loves it too!) With Chips, you'll never know what he may want eat!

The friendly cat at Taman Bahagia by where Ash (my colleague) parks his car.. KL Tower, taken on my cell phone.. not very clear but this was after the rain had stopped and there was some mist around the tower..

Pretty, colourful flowers at the Jalan Sultan Ismail/Jalan Raja Chulan intersection.. A rare sight - horses in my neighbourhood! Obviously, the mounted police are now assigned to my neighbourhood and were good sports to stop and lemme take a pix.

Finally, Caroline, my cousin in Sydney sent some pix of her kids to me! On the left is an "all grown up" Taiga on his first day of pre-school this year.. he'll be 5 in June and on the right is Yasmine, who's now about 15 months?
