November 2008.. the month that just flew by..

November just came and went before I knew it! I suppose with so much happening, it was no wonder... and whoever that said "time flies when you're having fun" is not entirely correct - this month was not all fun but, man, did it fly!

The month started out with an event we had at KLPac. We had our set-up on the 3rd and as we were going about doing our set-up at the lobby, we were pleasantly surprised by a "visitor" that kept coming and making her presence felt! Yup, it was a cat..

It was kindda strange 'coz she was in the carpentry workshop (where they usually build the sets) and it looked as tho' there was no way out for her. And, she was very pregnant too and I felt really sorry for her as I thought she may have been accidentally locked in. Later, I got to know from the staff that she was deliberately kept in there (for her own good!) because she was pregnant but every day at 12noon, she'd be brought to the ticketing office to chill and have her meals and she'd go back to the workshop at about 8pm. This adorable li'l kitty is named Socks..

Socks, coming up to the glass pane to make sure we saw her.. quite verbal this one..

Part of our set up at the grounds.. way yonder is the Japanese restaurant where we had lunch.. very pretty, with koi pond, willow trees and all.. sorry, no pix.. was in a hurry..

Also on the grounds were these 3 doggies.. the one in the centre barks a lot..

We didn't have to go to KLPac for the rehearsal on the 4th but we had something else going on - a visit by ASIMO! Check out these pix..
That's how big (or should I say small?) ASIMO is..
I have loads of pix and videos too but due to space constraints...

The actual event at KLPac was on the 5th and it went well..
Jasmin & I.. relieved after the event that went on well..

As you may know from my previous post, I was off to Bangkok from the 7th to 9th, took the day off on the 10th (SO glad I did!!) and was back to chaos at work on the 11th. We were busy with lots of stuff, including a photo shoot scheduled on the 17th.

The shoot went well on the 17th and we wrapped up in really good time - before lunch! So the photographer, art director, accounts executive fron the ad agency, Fred and I went for lunch at Madam Kwan's, a restaurant pracically next door to us. I had the lamb chops (was in the mood for meat!) while all the rest had Nasi Bojari.. The Nasi Bojari looked really great, man.. made the chops look boring.. I'm not sure exactly what it is or how it tastes, but the piece of fried chicken.. oooohhhh... looked so good!!! So good that I could've easily overlooked the assam prawns.. hey, and I love assam prawns, ok..

Well, as you may know (also) from my previous entry that I'd been tied up with the school group I had accompanied to Singapore.. Came back to still lots of work.. got sick the following Friday - thought it was a migraine but.. wrong! I was unning a fever and my tonsils were swollen! So, yup, had to be put on a course of (yucky smelling!) antibiotics..

What's my monthly entry without some pix of my kitties..?? It's a must!

The 3 gals up front & the boy cat way.. back there.. The 3 gals putting their best paws forward..

Sadly, this may be the last pix we'll see of the 3 gals together.. I dunno why but Tisha doesn't like Girl anymore and growls at her even when she merely passes by.. Boo is Boo.. she gets along with all.. She's grown up to be so cantik and poised and so adorable..
5 months from the time I took her in.. what a difference from that scruffy, grumpy li'l thing that she was..

Well, it's already December now as I write this.. this month's gonna fly too but I'm sure I'm gonna have loads of fun over Christmas!
