The K-Zone Birthday Bash - 30 May 2009

We had a booth at the K-Zone Birthday Bash held at the I-Utama Park and were there bright and early. After setting up (which took all of 15 minutes!), Fred and I wandered to have a look at other booths and stopped for a long time at my favourite booth, the PAWS booth!

They were just getting the animals up for adoption out of their cages - 3 doggies and 3 kitties. The kitties were SO cute but a little stressed due to all the noise.

The big ginger girl cat's named Garfield & the li'l black & white boy cat's named Rocco

This cute Siamese/Persian mix is named.. geez, I can't remember & Fred couldn't help not taking a pix with him.

And, here are the cute doggies. I was too absorbed with the kitties that I didn't get the doggies' names.

There were many mascot running around and Fred & I couldn't resist them and had our pix taken with the ones from Ice Age 3..

The rest of the mascot.. only didn't manage to get a pix of the Dutch Lady cow & Jimmy Neutron

Having the bash at the 1-Utama Park was a great idea. It was much nicer and had a much better atmosphere. Fred, Miza and I made endless trips to the PAWS booth. Miza ended up adopting the cute Siamese/Persian kitty and has since re-named him Boboy. As for me.. well. I was quite set to adopt Garfield at first but ended up adopting Rocco.. Yes, I now have 5 kitties at home! I wasn't fond of the name Rocco and decided to call him Boy. So, now I have 2 black & white cat - a female one called Girl and a male one called Boy. Perfect!

Boboy & Boy chillin' in their carrier boxes waiting to be taken home..

Since I didn't have transport to get the kitty home, one of the PAWS volunteers, Molly, gave me a ride - very nice of her. We wrapped up at 6pm and made our way home.. me, with new kitty in tow and a tad worried how the rest would take to the new boy..
Me & Boy, taken by Andrea while waiting for Molly to come get us..
