Aunty Connie's birthday was on a Friday.. a work day.. Fortunately, I'd managed to get off work slightly earlier and a train arrived almost immediately. So, I made it over for dinner in good time. Dinner was a simple affair.. the birthday girl cooked dinner but I reckon she's happy doing it and having a quiet li'l do..

The rest of us had chicky chop with mushroom sauce, baked potatoes and steamed greens..
and for dessert it was chocolate & coffee birthday cake..
