Stayed at Cititel Hotel smack on Penang Road.. Jasmin's my roomie again.. I've stayed at this hotel before.. it's more than a decent hotel and the location is great!

It was almost 5 when we finally got settled in our room. The day (or what was left of it) was pretty laid back. Jasmine went out with some of her friends after dinner and I ended up having a quiet drink (yes, 'a' literally means ONE!) down the road with some of the boys from the Sound/Lights/AV company we were working with.
It was work as usual the next day. Surprisingly, the day seemed to pass really quickly and before you know it, it was dinner time!

After dinner a bunch of us headed out to Batu Feringghi for a bit of shopping - if you know what I mean (nudge, nudge, wink, wink..) Sadly, the stalls we were looking for weren't open due to intervention by the powers that be. We were so crestfallen and made our way back to the hotel.. empty handed.. sigh..
I had just reached my room when Jasmin, who had stayed on with her cousin, called to say they had opened after all! Yay! Now, all I had to do was see if Munir (from our Ad Agency and designated driver for the night) was game... and game he was! So, yes, we made our way all the way out to Batu Feringghi again but this time we definitely didn't go back empty handed!!! Yay!!
Woke up early the next day for work. Again, we wrapped up by about 2-ish. Went back to the hotel to chill for a bit before going out with my other colleague Rafidah along Penang Road to do a bit of shopping and a for spot of chendol.. yum!!
Dinner was at Gurney Drive and it was just so-so la.. then it was off the Macalister Road for some durian!! I only had 1 piece.. wish I could've had more but I was already having a slight sore throat and didn't want to push it. Sad..

We left Penang the next day but not before having some nasi kandar at Hameediyah's but.. it was a Friday and they were closed! Aww, man.. So, we ended up at some other place along Penang Road having roti chanai.. which was still good!

Flight was at noon and by the time I reached home, it was 4-ish already. I was just thankful to be home and that it was a Friday!!
