Travel for Work at Kuching, Sarawak 5 & 6 May 2008

This is my first in a series of trips for work. Cool, you may say.. well.., it is.. kindda but it's a work trip not a holiday, which means work comes first and I can have some fun if I have time or I'm not too tired (mind, you, it can be quite tiring!).


We stayed at a hotel called Regency Rajah Court. It looks quite "resorty" and quite pleasant but it was in the middle of no where! It was nowhere near the city.. but even if it were, I hardly had any time or mood (read on to find out why!) to go out.


My room, which I shared with my colleague Shamini, was spacious. Shamini was down with the flu.. poor thing!

I had sprained my anke in the afternoon of the first day (hence my lack of mood). It was OK at first but by after dinner.. my ankle just swelled up! Iced my ankle which brought down the swelling considerably but it still hurt.

We finished work by about 2.oopm on the 6th, headed back to KL on the 8.00pm flight. A very short, productive workwise but uneventful (unless you count my swollen ankle as an "event"! Haha!) trip.
